Person behind the scene....... |
IECS was established in 1986 by Mr. M.G. Bidnurkar, Managing Trustee of IECS trust. He is a retired Scientific Officer from Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR). He is recipient of prestigious "Fellow Computer Society of India" award by the hands of the President of India. Since its inception in 1986, IECS has grown into a well known and prestigious computer educational institute in the care of Mr. Bidnurkar. He has always kept IECS far ahead of other institutes by upgrading the courses and introducing the latest in computer education. Today, again he has given the privilege to IECS to be the first in Thane district to impart AS/400e training by installing the latest AS/400e (V4R2) machine. He has selected the best talent available for imparting the AS/400e training. The AS/400 staff is well versed with the subject, highly qualified and have many years of functional experience. Some have even served in prestigious positions in well known multinationals abroad. Not having a business attitude, Mr. Bidnurkar seriously believes in offering the best in education to the young Indian citizens at a very reasonable and affordable cost. Fees structure of AS/400e training at IECS is the lowest in the country. IECS has a very rich library of computer books and the students are encourages to read as many books as they wish. The atmosphere in IECS is very free and the students are encouraged to make use of the best of their analytical talents. | ||||||||||||||||

There are very few AS/400 technical training centers in India. Only the metropolitan cities have a few institutes that offer courses on AS/400. There is shortage of skilled AS/400 professionals all over the world. Just go through the appointments column of any newspaper or computer magazine and you would be able to find out for yourself the demand for AS/400 professionals abroad. With an experience of one year, an average student is able to find a job abroad especially in the USA, Canada, Australia, Greece, UK and Gulf countries. In India, as most of the AS/400 professionals leave to join a job abroad after gaining one year experience, there always exists some vacancy for a fresher to fill-up this gap. Job opportunities will grow with time as more and more installations are being done by IBM. This does not mean that you will get a job just after you complete the training. You will have to keep on practicing on the machine to learn more. Job will depend on how you perform in the interview, and your performance would depend on your knowledge of practically operating the AS/400 system. | Gateway to Jobs....
